Abstracts

Participants were asked to categorize their presentations this year by the areas of configuration improvement (magnetic fusion and inertial fusion) and/or the areas of plasma science, which can be addressed by small plasma experiments. Of course, any improvement must be achieved while maintaining adequate confinement.

Short papers of the presentations have the option to be published in the Journal of Fusion Energy.

Abstracts were submitted via the website by December 21, 2005. The submission designated one or two of the areas of interest that are mainly addressed by the paper (A, B, or C). An author whose paper was selected for oral presentation was notified by January 16, 2006.
